Writing is a really difficult task. Especially when one has to write in a foreign language. It demands a lot of courage. The students at CILC – Centro Interescolar de Línguas de Ceilândia – have accepted this challenge. It would not be fair if we did not present the gang and their school. CILC is a public language school in Distrito Federal. There, three foreign languages are taught and, hopefully (Prabhu), learned. We can learn English, Spanish, and French. The school was founded in 1985 by a group of visionary language teachers. The school is now 22 years old and has about 5,000 students. We have developed some activities with our students that go beyond the walls. For example, a group of students made a video short story after reading and discussing Poe’s The Telltale Heart. Now, a group of students of English have decided to write and show some of these activities on the web. Here you can find some information, point of view, entertainment, and much more.
